THINGS TO NOTE WHEN PREPARING GARRY-ON BAGGAGE

Please note that the following prohibited and restricted items in your carry-on and checked baggage, will be confiscated and disposed at the security checkpoint.

LIST OF ITEMS PROHIBITED IN PASSENGERS’ CARRY-ON BAGGAGE IN AIRCRAFT AND AIRPORT RESTRICTED AREAS

  1. Firearms, guns, and projectile-firing devices designed to cause serious injury, or items that could be mistaken for such devices:

    2. 2. Ice axes and ice picks
    3. 3. Razor blades, knives, box cutters, utility knives, straight razors
    4. 4. All knives other than round-tipped, blunt-edged butter knives or plastic knives
    5. 5. Scissors with blades longer than 6 cm as measured from the fulcrum
    6. 6. Martial arts equipment with sharp points or cutting edges
    7. 7. Swords and sabres
    8. 8. S ki and trekking poles, ice skates
    9. 9. Blender with fixed blades
    10. 10. Corkscrew / Wine opener
    11. 11. Swiss army knife

  4. Tools capable of causing serious injury or posing a threat to the safety of the aircraft:

    3. 3. Screwdrivers and chisels longer than 6 cm when measured from the handle, which could be used as a weapon
    4. 4. All types of electric and portable saws
    5. 5. Soldering irons
    6. 6. Wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, and spanners
    7. 7. Nail guns and screw guns
    8. 8. Rubber mallet
    9. 9. Multi-tool with a knife blade
    10. 10. Lock-picking tools longer than 17 cm
    11. 11. Power tools (e.g., drill, impact drill)

  5. Blunt instruments:

    9. 9. Batons and clubs (e.g., truncheons, nightsticks)
    10. 10. Martial arts equipment (e.g., nunchakus, kubotans, batons)
    11. 11. Bowling ball, bowling pin

  6. Explosive and flammable substances that may cause serious damage to the safety of the aircraft
    1. 1. Ammunition containing gunpowder, gas cartridges
    2. 2. Detonators and blasting caps
    3. 3. Electric igniters and fuse wires
    4. 4. Imitation or replica explosive materials or devices
    5. 5. All types of grenades and landmines intended for military or mining use
    6. 6. Pyrotechnic items such as flares, signal rockets, flare cartridges, smoke cartridges, blasting caps, and Bengal lights
    7. 7. Smoke-generating canisters and cartridges
    8. 8. Dynamite, gunpowder, and plastic explosives
    9. 9. Flammable liquids: gasoline, diesel, lighter fluid, acetone, methanol, ethyl cellosolve, ether, paint thinner, oil-based resin, spray paint
    10. 10. Camping stove containing fuel
    11. 11. Powder or granular substances in quantities exceeding 350 ml
    12. 12. Electronic cigarettes with lithium-ion batteries exceeding 100 Wh, or lithium metal batteries containing more than 2 grams of lithium
    13. 13. Fertilizer
    14. 14. Fire extinguisher and other compressed gas cylinders
    15. 15. Gas torch (blowtorch)
    16. 16. Gel-filled heating pad
    17. 17. Gel-type candles
    18. 18. Lighter
    19. 19. Matches
    20. 20.Mercury thermometer
    21. 21. Propane
    22. 22. Samsung Galaxy Note7
    23. 23. Spillable (liquid-type) battery
  7. Flammable liquids: Gasoline, diesel fuel, lighter fluid, acetone, methanol, ethyl cellosolve, ether, paint thinner, oil-based resin, spray paint; All types of liquids that fall under the restrictions of the "Regulation on the Limitation of Liquids in Carry-on and Checked Baggage on Aircraft" are included.
  8. Other dangerous substances and items: Any other substances and objects that may be used to commit acts of unlawful interference are prohibited;
  9. Note: A detailed list of dangerous substances and items is provided in the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

LIQUIDS AND LITHIUM BATTERY ALLOWED IN CARRY-ON BAGGAGE 

  • Total of 1 liter of liquids packed in separate containers not exceeding 100 milliliters.
  • Baby food and formula if travelling with baby.
  • Medications with doctors' prescription.
  • Lithium batteries, power banks, and mobile phone charging cases below 27000mAh.

Please note that if the following prohibited or restricted items are found in checked baggage, they must be discarded at the security checkpoint.

LIST OF ITEMS PROHIBITED IN PASSENGERS’ CHECKED BAGGAGE

Explosive and flammable substances prohibited in checked baggage due to their potential to endanger aircraft safety or cause serious harm:

  1. Ammunition containing gunpowder and gas cartridges
  2. Blasting caps and hunting-grade detonators
  3. Electric detonators/igniters and fuse wires
  4. Imitation or replica explosive materials or devices
  5. All types of grenades and landmines intended for military or mining use
  6. Pyrotechnic items such as signal and illumination flares, flare cartridges, smoke cartridges, blasting caps, Bengal lights, and fireworks
  7. Smoke-generating canisters and cartridges
  8. Dynamite, gunpowder, and plastic explosives
  9. Flammable liquids: gasoline, diesel, lighter fluid, acetone, methanol, ethyl cellosolve, ether, paint thinner, oil-based resin, spray paint
