On April 17, 2024, an award ceremony was held in Frankfurt, Germany, where "Chinggis Khaan" International Airport was presented with its "4 STAR AIRPORT" certificate.

In line with efforts to enhance safety and convenience within the airport parking premises, fees will be introduced for parking at Chinggis Khaan International Airport effective April, 2024. Parking usage fees can be paid through various methods, both inside and outside the airport, at the designated Parking Payment Center.
